DIY Detail 1 Year Graphene Ceramic Coating

DIY Detail 1 Year Ceramic Graphene Coating is a TEOS-based ceramic coating that’s easy to apply, adds gloss, slickness, and long-term protection. The TEOS (Tetraethyl Orthosilicate) formulation helps reduce clogging and provides exceptional fracturing resistance, making this coating reliable and user-friendly for both enthusiasts and professionals.

Application can be done using either the included sprayers or dropper insert, the choice is yours.

Application Instructions

Surface Prep

• Start with a clean, dry, and fully decontaminated surface.
• Surface temperature must be above 40°F (5°C) and remain there for at least 1 hour.

For best results, prep the surface using DIY Detail Panel Prep or C6 Ceramics Adhesion Promoter Polish (APP).

Spray / Towel Method

• Spray several times onto a short-nap towel (Level 1) and spread over the surface to be protected.
• For additional panels, spray 3–4 times onto the towel.
• Allow the coating to flash, then level using a Freebird 400 towel.

Spray / Applicator Method

• Spray several times onto a foam coating applicator and spread evenly over the surface.
• For additional panels, apply 3–4 sprays to the applicator.
• Allow to flash, then level with a Freebird 400 towel.

Dropper Method

• Remove the sprayer and insert the dropper, ensuring it is seated properly.
• Apply 8–10 drops to the applicator and spread over the surface.
• For additional panels, apply 2–3 drops.
• Allow to flash, then level with a Freebird 400 towel.

Post-Application Care

• Vehicle can return to service after 1 hour
• Wash using DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash after 3 days
• Full cure achieved in 7 days

After application, remove the sprayer and spray back into the bottle to clear remaining coating. Clean the sprayer using DIY Detail Rinse Less Wash or DIY Detail Panel Prep.
